My Eye
We learned about the eye through taking notes, labeling pictures, and doing experiments. For the experiment we used newspaper, saran wrap, and water. We were trying to see what would happen if we put saran wrap on the newspaper and put water on it. The water and saran wrap acted like a lens. The water magnified the image.
We used pixlr express to edit the image we took on our chromebooks. We drew arrows and wrote captions to tell what the parts of our eyes.
4-PS4-2.Develop a model to describe that light reflecting from objects and entering the eye allows objects to be seen. (This was the introductory activity.)
